Bryant views the life of human as a not so significane being. Well, he stresses more on what is nature, the being of nature and what would we do or happen after we die. In comparing the poem of Ann Bradstreet and Bryant's poem, Ann Bradstreet only focus on the material being and the idea behind death.
Bryant discusses more than the simple idea of death. He elaborated more on the part where the matters of human being stays and the cycle of nature. Anne Bradstreet talks about the soul being eternal. The man's soul will travel to receive the judgement of God and that we might all just sugger in hell. Byrant's idea behind the soul is more optimistic than that of Anne Bradstreet's. Bryant's idea was that all men can receive slavation in the end. They will travel to heacen or a big abysss when they die. When we die, we get to rest with all the glorious nobles that died before we did.
Anne Bradstret believe that all thing fades in the end besides our soul. The material beings in the world we are living now doesn't matter at all. God gave it to us, and he have the same right to take it away from us. Bryant had the same similar idea as Anne Bradsreet. Nothing stays forever, your soul will stay, but your material and body will fade into darkness.
The matters stays and go into a cycle in nature. Your soul stays and go into a huge caraven going to the realm of death.
